Tours run twice a day at 10am & 2pm from March to October and 10am from November to February. Tours must be booked in advance.

At Cornmarket, near Christ Church, there are two St Audoen’s churches. The Anglican church, slighly hidden, is the oldest functioning parish church in Dublin, dating from the early 13th century, but you can’t miss the Catholic St. Audoens, built between 1841 and 1852. Christine Casey, in her highly regarded book, The Buildings of Ireland – Dublin, says about this building: ‘There is no clearer example in Dublin of post-Emancipation triumphalism.’ Note the church sign is firstly in Polish, as this is now the centre of worship for that community in the city.
